Time passes...
Been a couple of weeks, so thought I'd give an update:
Alt-Fiction was great - and if you're at all interested in writing, then get yourself booked in for next year.
As just mentioned on the forum, I've accepted Gareth L Powell's short sf novel Silversands for publication in 2009, and I have some forthcoming news once the contract is signed (it's been a long weekend here in the UK, and I was otherwise engaged on personal writing duties... oooh!)
Triquorum II will probably be available the same time has Dalton Quayle, and then clear the decks for John Grant's HUGE anthology which I want to get ready in time for FantasyCon.
This book is scaring the crap out of me, seriously: it's good, but bloody hell, it's so fucking big (for a small publisher such has myself). And won't be cheap.

Good to meet you at alt.fiction - I'll definitely be back for next year's event.
And good luck getting the new books to press on time! :-)

Lee - you missed a good curry. Hey - if you had been there I would have been out with three of my future editors! Steve Upham from Screaming Dreams was there too.

Ally, 'twas good - though not sure if I would pay the going-rate for such a course. Need to knuckle down now and polish off the script for 1st June.
